My mom lives in Malaga 6 months of the year, so I finally went to visit her and my stepdad Phil. They were staying in a short term rental about a half hour walk west of the historic Old Town. The Centro Historico in Malaga is suuuuuuper pretty and a bit more fancy than the ones I saw recently in Portugal.

| El Tintero seafood restaurant |
The seafood restaurant El Tintero was a hoot, the waiters walk around yelling out dishes and you pay by the plate. It was a whole experience.

| Caminito del Rey hike |
My mom and I also hiked the Caminito del Rey - super fun and sketchy gorge/cliff walk. This is a GREAT day trip, although there was nowhere to use the bathroom because you are clinging to the side of a cliff, which was a problem for some folks.
